You will learn how to ride, train, and care for your assigned horse all in 90 minutes! We will be able to cover tons of topics, making record-fast learning! We will cover:

• Horse safety

  • Learn how to work around horses in the safest way possible.

  • Learn what to do in dangerous situations and how to handle yourself and your horse safely.

  • Learn how to think like a horse so you can expect what they will do.

• Horseback riding

  • Learn how to ride every way!

  • Bareback(saddle-less), on trails, in the arena, stops, turns, gaits(walk, trot, lope(canter)).

• Groundwork

  • Learn what groundwork is and how to use it to grow your horse knowledge, skills, and relationship!

• Horse care

  • Learn about feed, horse responsibilities, chores, and day-to-day maintenance! 

• Horse grooming/brushing

  • Learn how to properly brush, groom, and wash a horse!

When you arrive, please wait for me to come and pick you up at your designated lesson time. From there, we will catch your assigned horse, brush them, tack them up, and begin the riding lesson! 

Your First Lesson: We will catch your assigned horse, brush them, tack up, ride, untack, and put them away. Sounds like the normal 1-hour lesson? Our Full Package Horsemanship Lesson has way more time to go into depth about riding and horses, giving you more time for riding and for me to give you more information! Over time, you will also get to experience more, including groundwork, training, and horse care.
