Play Days

​Are you just looking for a good time or to have a party? Play Days might be the thing for you!

 Play Days are not lessons, but are just a fun time with the horses! It is a great place to start if you are interested in taking lessons but aren't sure if this program is right for you. Play Days are for all ages, young and old! You will ride, brush, wash, and learn all about the horses. This can be a one-time session or weekly.


Play Days are 40 minutes long and cost $40. Give this page a scroll and see if this would be the right fit for you! 

What You Will Learn & Do

Our Play Days include basic learning, but we prioritize fun and experience. Your student will not learn how to ride a horse by themselves, but will get to ride, play, and experience horses! Some things we will do are:

  • Horseback riding!​

    • Students will also be led on short trails playing games that encourage critical thinking! (Ex. Eye-spy for anything that might be dangerous for our horses. Holes, other horses, trash, rocks, etc.)

    • The student will be led on horseback in the arena, participating in games, obstacles, and fun!

  • Bathing/Washing

    • Students will learn how to properly wash/bathe a horse, making the experience fun.

  • Brushing/Grooming

    • Students will learn how to brush and groom a horse! Students will also learn different braids for horses' manes and tails!

  • Feeding & Care

    • Students will learn how to feed horses, what they eat, different kinds of hay, and also experience all the chores horses come with!

Party Time!

Looking for a memorable Western Idaho birthday party? Our horse parties are a fun, hands-on way to celebrate with horses at the Moore Mustangs facility.

Parties include seating, water, shade, and led horseback rides. For safety, guests do not control the horses themselves; all party horses are led by experienced handlers.

​

Parties may include up to 20 guests total. Pricing is based on party size and the number of horses used. Each party includes one riding horse, with the option to add additional horses for $40 per horse, up to a maximum of three horses.

We offer three party options so you can choose the best fit for your group.

​

Small Party — 60 minutes | $80

  • Best for 2–5 riders.

  • Includes 40 minutes of riding time and 20 minutes of party time for dessert and gifts.

​

Medium Party — 90 minutes | $100

  • Best for 2–8 riders.

  • Includes 60 minutes of riding time and 30 minutes of party time for dessert and gifts.

​

Large Party — 120 minutes | $180

  • Best for 3–12 riders.

  • Includes 60 minutes of riding time, 40 minutes of party time, and 20 minutes of horse grooming, where guests can help brush and pretty up the horses at the end of the party.
